SPRING CLEANING TIME! – It’s almost time for the city-wide garage sale sponsored by the Overton-New London Chamber of Commerce. Saturday, May 28, is the day of the sale. Anyone in the Overton, New London or Sexton City area can list a garage sale in The Overton Press for just $5 and let shoppers know where to go for bargains. Deadline is noon Monday. Information to submit: Hours and location of the sale, and four or five items to attract customers. First 10 paid ads receive a free neon yellow garage sale sign already fastened to a stake.
